Showing dad how I update this site

Today, Dad wanted to know how I make changes to my web log. So here ya go, Bob.

An orange day

Today has been a very orange day. I wore my new orange shirt with the nifty front pockets. For lunch I had an omelette with cheddar cheese. This afternoon I sucked an orange flavored candy cane which turned my tongue the color of my shirt. During Oprah I enjoyed cheese flavored popcorn (hey, sometimes you just get a craving) and baby carrots. And for dinner I had cheese pizza.

Some things are probably better left untold.

More misc.

It’s someone’s birthday today. Whose birthday am I forgetting? Thanks, Erik, for the shameless plug on your personal web site. Just for that, you get a link back to yours.

Things that make me happy today:

This weekend I saw American Beauty. Whoah. And I’m glad I don’t live in Burnsville.

Is the Mac ergonomic?

Apparently this past Tuesday was RSI (Repetitive Strain Injuries) Awareness Day, “because work shouldn’t hurt” (and because it hurts for, like, 99.999% of the human population). Well, my new job started Wednesday — I was given an iMac — and after just one day my old wrist, forearm and elbow injuries were coming back to haunt me. Are the iMac keyboard and mouse all that ergonomic? While Jonathan Ives, the designer of the iMac, has a lot of fascinating stuff to say about the design of my friendly new machine, I’d like to hear what he thinks of the damned keyboard. Gateway … take me away.
