Not that this site is anything new, but every time I go back to Heather’s Friends of Jezebel’s Mirror site, I’m continuously amazed. Maybe it’s the quality of the photos: some are so clear, and others have this blurry, gritty, real life feeling. Maybe I’m intrigued by the stories that go with each photo — who’s in the picture, what they were doing, why they took it. Perhaps I think it’s so cool because I never thought about doing it before, taking a picture in a mirror like that. Or, maybe I’m just the most amazed at Heather’s confidence in herself, taking those pictures at every chance she can get, and inviting others to do the same. Look at you! You’re beautiful! Don’t forget yourself at this moment! Sometimes, I wish I were more like that.
