It’s been one helluva week. Quit my retail job. Launched a re-designed web site. Helped Roger move. And, of course, topped off my Labor Day Weekend with the best trip to the Minnesota State Fair in recent memory. Sunday’s expense report (if memory serves me correctly):
| Admission for two: | $14.00 |
| 1 Strawberry sundae | $2.25 |
| Deep fried onion rings: | $3.00 |
| 32 oz. Diet Coke: | $2.00 |
| 32 oz. French Fries: | $3.50 |
| Chocolate Chip Cookies: | $4.00 |
| Cheese Curds: | $3.00 |
| Ride for two on the Double Ferris Wheel: | $5.00 |
| Kitchen 2000! (aka The Chopper): | $31.95 |
| Picnic/Wine Toting Backpack: | $59.95 |
| 2 Leinie’s Originals: | $7.00 |
| 1 roast beef hoagie: | $4.00 |
| Mini-Donuts: | $3.00 |
| TOTAL: | $142.65 |
I think I’m missing something. However, my tummy says I missed nothing.
The best part of the fair had to be the look on Roger’s face when he met Van and Cheryl. Of course, I was partial to the sculpted butter heads, not to mention the classic signage. I can’t wait ’til next year.
