Summer fun!

Why the long time gone? Fussy home computer! So, last week Ryan helped us install Windows XP and things seem to be running swimmingly now. Unfortunately, I discovered that I deleted most of the files for all my old web sites (what a bummer), including the Photoshop files for this one. Oh well. It seems about time for a re-design anyway.

Since July 2, Roger and I have been busy: we went to Lake Sakakawea for the Fourth of July, spent a few weekends in Bloomington working around the house (installing a new dryer, doing yard work, gardening), and enjoyed the company of good friends at home and on Lake Minnetonka. So, the month of July has been summed up in a big batch of random photos.

Our garden has been growing like mad and last week we picked the first zucchini and eggplant. I’ve added a few pics to the garden site, too — scroll down for the latest entries.

And …. Ryan, Paula, Roger and I headed to downtown Minneapolis last Saturday for Ribfest. Photos of the messy and delicious evening are here!

Garden photos

Roger and I started a garden this year, in the corner of the yard where apparently the previous owner threw all his dog shit. (No wonder it’s doing so well.) I’ll post more photos as things continue to grow.
