Blogjacking. Been there, done that, Miss Paula, so don’t think you’re all that.
Actually, Roger and I have been a bit absent lately. We were physically gone for a good chunk of August, traveling to Michigan and back, while Ryan and Paula dogsat and blogsat. And we’ve been virtually away from struthers.org, because, as Roger put it, “This site ain’t earning us any money” while the three freelance sites I’ve been working on do.
So, here’s what’s been going on in the past six weeks:
- The gang went to Drum Beauty again this year, and even managed to tailgate before the show.
- We went to Michigan so Roger could participate in the “All Hands Conference” for the Boy Scouts. The second half of our trip we traveled up the coast of Michigan, documenting at least half a dozen lighthouses and even landing on Mackinac Island for a day. We traveled a total 1200 miles and camped in three Michigan state parks. We arrived home to an unhappy Ryan and Paula after Kozmo shat all over their carpet for a solid week.
- We took in the State Fair, our Labor Day tradition. This year we arrived bright and early for the KARE 11 morning show.
So that’s the last part of July, all of August and the first half of September (in pictures, mostly!). We promise (we really do!) that our next post won’t be another six weeks from now … which would be …. Halloween?!
