Roger, pulling up in tiny Cruiser behind one big Hummer: “That’s a really big car.”

Lynsey: “Mmm.”

Roger, pulling forward six blocks: “Wow, that really is a big car.”

Lynsey: “Why the hell would you drive a car that big?”

Roger and Lynsey, pulling up beside said really big car, in unison: “Because you’re Jesse Ventura!”

Our Thanksgiving trip back from Belgrade ended up including a few detours … including a trip to the Albertville Outlets. Somehow, $35 at Harry and David suddenly turned into $200 at Brooks Brothers. At least we’ll look good while eating our fancy food.

But … the highlight of our trip came as we entered Maple Grove. All of a sudden, Roger was exiting …. and traveling right to Krispy Kreme! Original, glazed photos here.

We’re done! (Well, almost.) With the exception of nailing in the moulding and putting back a few pieces of furniture, our work on the family room is complete. You can see the pictures here.
